To apply online, simply complete a form. You will be asked 10 questions, about yourself, your contact information, your qualifications, what kind of vehicle (school bus, school purpose van, wheelchair bus) you would like to drive, and which part of the city you would like to work in. You can then upload your resume. It can take as little as 10-15 minutes.

OSTA collects this information purely for communication purposes only and will not share it with anyone else besides the Operators who are hiring for your preferred routes.

How to become a school bus or van driver

First, you must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid Class G driver’s license with a good record. Then you will apply, interview, train, and test.
