Sommer Transportation Service has specialized in providing small vehicle student transportation services in the National Capital Region since 1982. Our transportation fleet consists of vehicles whose capacity allows not more than 6 students at one time. Additionally, our fleet provides service for those requiring wheelchair accessible vehicles.
In contrast to large capacity carriers, we specialize in the conveyance and management of smaller groups of students who typically have special needs which may be emotional, behavioral or physical. We provide trained and security screened drivers, safe and fully equipped vehicles and comprehensive administrative support services. From data management to service delivery, our staff can professionally manage every aspect of student transportation.
